Irving Public Library asks members to Just Bring It! In an effort to offer more consistent and better customer service, as well as to ensure that library materials are returned in a timely manner, the library is instituting new lending policies. One of the policy changes is to "just bring" your library card. Members will be required to show a library card to check out materials and sign onto the computers. To accommodate those who have lost their library cards, the library is offering one free replacement card per member for the first three months after the policy goes into effect.
Another policy change asks members to "just bring" materials back on time. To encourage compliance, if members do not return items within ten days of the due date, computer usage will be blocked until items are returned.
