TEEN AUTHOR VISITS
Books will be available for sale at all signing events by the Friends of the Irving Public Library. You are welcome to bring your own copies to be signed. For more information, call (972) 721-2606.

Are you a flapper, socialite or a broadway baby? Anna Godbersen, young adult author of the Bright Young Things series will talk about what inspired her teen series about the glamour, romance and adventure of life during the days of speakeasies and red-hot jazz. An autograph session and refreshments will follow the event.

Refreshments, book sales and author signing will also take place afterwards. Open to all ages.

Come dressed as your favorite tragic literary character or couple (just like the characters are forced to do in the novel!) or just sit back & listen to a brief reading by the author. There will be cake! And awards! (including Best Costume & Farthest Distance Traveled).

Refreshments, book sales and author signing will also take place. Open to all ages.
